If I may be so bold, she also doesn't consider male sexuality to be something alien, horrible and disgusting. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Lucky man. It took me like twelve years to disabuse mine of the notion that somehow female sexuality was inherently superior.

Both like nothing better than talking about their feelings.

And drape and linnen shopping, the scented candle store, orthopedic slippers.......

Anybody remember the old Saturday Night Live mock commercial about the new three-blade system, "Because you'll believe anything"?

It was the "Triple Track" razor. LOL! I remember it. Remember "Khadaffi Jeans"?

Well see...

I am really impressed though that a thread about shaving is this popular.

The razor is probably the 3rd most over-engineered personal hygiene product, with feminine hygiene products taking 2nd place and the almighty tooth brush taking #1.

Does anyone know where I can get a 1960's Gillette adjustable(0-9) safety razor-Stainless steel? Thanks.

You can find anything, no matter how odd, on Ebay. I searched gillette safety razor and came up with 252 listings. A very quick look (like 30 seconds) found a "vintage" razor with a 1-9 setting.

You might have to wait a month, and check it every day; but I guarantee you that what you are looking for will show up...it's spooky...LOL!

I would rank it second, after feminine hygiene products. I have read articles in metallurgical journals regarding laser welding procedures and fab processes used to make disposable razor cartridges.

a couple of slaps of Hoppes #9 Powder Solvent

Ahh, Hoppes #9 has that magical smell that just says "Man!", it's that same "gearhead's pheremone" scent that WD-40 has. Sure there are better barrel cleaning products out there, but the ol' #9 works wonders.

well i use my electric razor and finish off with a triple one as a touch up.....saves me a lot fo money because they are ridulously expensive. by this way you get a long time out of a replaceable razor...

just traded in the Mach3 for the Fusion(non battery) and trust me that the two extra blades are GREAT... a heavier head and a smoother slide and a much closer shave. I soak the beard in the shower and shave with a shower mirror under the hot water, and with a heavy beard, the Fusion is definitely an advance. Hate to pay more than $2 a replacement blade, but I make them last weeks and it takes me fewer strokes and less time with the new Fusion than before. Now I'll search eBay for cheaper refills... but with the reduced coupons, Costco has razor and 6 refills for $18.

Your wife have a sister. I dated a GORGEOUS Persian girl who wanted a man who was less dominant.

I read in a chemistry journal that the whitening strips people use on their teeth soften their enamel to the hardness of the dentin underneath -- in just one treatment! People are freegin' fools ...Let's put a 6th blade on the ole razor and see what it does, eh?

Straight razors are the way to go on your face. They just take a little getting used to.

Shaving ones head however takes a bit more practice.

Trust me, I know.
