Only liberals would see fit to erect a monument to cowardice.
What degenerates.

The plan for a monument in Nelson, British Columbia, was originally announced in 2004, but quickly dropped after it was denounced by the U.S. Veterans of Foreign Wars and conservative media commentators.
Damn that conservative media.

Speakers at the four-day event are expected to include former U.S. Senator George McGovern, who campaigned to get the United States out of Vietnam in his unsuccessful 1972 bid for the White House. The agenda is incomplete without the participation of Draft Dodger #1. Maybe we should start a petition drive to urge them to get Clinton as their coward-of-honor...

10 to 1 says that ex-Prez Jimmy Crapper will be on hand for the unveiling ceremony, spewing his hate-filled diatribes against President Bush.

Hey, I had to grow a beard, change my clothes, not bathe for a month, and get stupid. OK, I cheated and used drugs for the last one. :)

The proposal calls for a sculpture of two Americans, a male and a female...
they should resemble these two -
