My husband voted for Gore in 2000 and although he has grudgingly come to admire the president, he has often thought we might be better under Gore. Until his speech this week in Saudi Arabia. That took away all doubt and now he thinks he should be prosecuted for treason.

Sure. Any new President with a new national security team would likely have been better than the Clinton people, who were half asleep at Defense and especially at the Justice Dept.
The Clinton Justice Department had become nothing more than his personal criminal defense law firm. And they were tired, especially after beating the impeachment rap.
I said it was possible that any new President would have had a better shot at unraveling 9/11, including Gore, and I stand by that thought.
