I just heard from a local radio reporter (during Rush newsbreak at approximately 1:00 p.m) that Whittington "may have taken a turn for the worse," and was put back into intensive care.

Take issue with FNC putting on that Dr. London who has hysterically described the patient's heart as having "part of it die."
She has not viewed his chart nor examined the patient.
She is way out of line and she's a democrat shill.

glad someone else cannot stand Juliet Huddy..was so glad when she went off Fox & Friends in the a.m.! Do not know why McClellan just does not say that he wants relatives and close friends to know first before announcing things to the news.

Yep, Hell you can't even find out if a relative has been admitted let alone their condition.

What if the heart attack was INDUCED?
1. Makes Cheney look worse
2. More PR for Corpus Christi Hospital
3. More fame for Doctors who "rescued" Whittington
Just "chumming" the water.

Now they're throwing out the fact that McClellan knew about Whittington's heart attack before WH press briefing. It is not HIS PLACE nor this WHITE HOUSE'S place to update the press on another man's condition.
That's NOT his job -- and might well be a violation of Whittington's PRIVACY.

Because McClellan is horrible. He seems too meek and wimpy. He reminds me of Joe Lockhart during the Clinton years. Needed someone like Ari at times like these.
To: Carolinamom
They keep claiming that there are the best hospitals in NYC and Whittington should be THERE. Yet they can only get to a General Practitioner who specializes in hair removal to critique the patient's condition long distance?Or even the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Billings, Montana has one of the largest heart clinics in the western United States.

Why did you pull
this thread. It was different than this current one.
The thread was about the headline (Cheney's Victim suffers Heart Attack)....and the media's treatment of this issue.
Not a duplicate post. Not a vainity. Please reinstate. Thanks
To: Howlin
at this point, I'm wondering whether the right move would be to have Cheney go before the press. its better then letting the feeding frenzy go on. we see time after time, anytime a news vacuum exists on any story, the media fills it with their own opinion (presented as fact), and we all know what that means.
To: Howlin
If the hospital is letting Whittington accept phone calls, he must be okay.
The doom and gloom press has gotten on my last nerve. I need my TV screen to watch the Westminster Kennel Club dog show tonight, so don't dare turn it on. I'd throw something at it!!
Thanks for the info
