I just heard from a local radio reporter (during Rush newsbreak at approximately 1:00 p.m) that Whittington "may have taken a turn for the worse," and was put back into intensive care.
what am I supposed to say?
vice_president@whitehouse.gov
Email VP Cheney and give him your support! This must be a horrible time for him.
Same here!!!
That was one of the most irresponsible journalism I've ever heard
CHENEY HAS RELEASED A STATEMENT.
Which is hard to reconcile with the story yesterday that Frist was trying to distance himself from the President. I hate these guys.
Honestly Ohio, I think Brit was a little ticked off about all of this.
It's under the surface, but you can see it there. He does not suffer fools gladly.
I just switched over
They keep claiming that there are the best hospitals in NYC and Whittington should be THERE. Yet they can only get to a General Practitioner who specializes in hair removal to critique the patient's condition long distance?
In writing, or a presser?
>>78 year olds who aren't professional hunters shouldn't be doing this stuff.
True, but I think if 78-year-olds want to do something REALLY dangerous, they could spend a few nights in a hospital. All sorts of things can go wrong. They could miss a pellet floating around near your heart; immobilize you until you get an embolism; expose you to one of those supergerm hospital infections from bacteria that thrive on Mr. Clean; give you the wrong medication; drop you while moving you to another bed; not bother to start a course of preventive antibiotics until you have a wicked fever and the beginnings of blood poisoning. Et cetera.
Compared to that, hunting birds is a romp.
Well they are TOO LATE for me, this afternoon. I will not turn FOX back on until Brit Hume's show tonight.
HEAR THAT ADVERTISERS?
Not that I'm doubting you, but
YOU'RE KIDDING ME!?!
That's too stupid even to be worthy of ridicule.
Ironic, isn't t? The Lefties are big on the right to privacy when it comes to abortion, but not on an elderly man hit in a hunting accident.
Actually, Whittington can put a stop to it by DEMANDING his FEDERAL RIGHT TO PRIVACY regarding inpatient treatments in any hospital receiving federal funds.
I worked in a 16 bed ICU for about 15 years, and so feel safe in telling you that not every patient is in there because of their condition.
ICU is typically the most restricted and secure unit, barring psych units, in which a patient can be placed. We often had a patient who was political, a prisoner, or in need of protection/restricted access placed in ICU regardless of condition.
What's going on here?
Thank God, maybe they'll ditch that dopey GP.
I think a part of her brain died-- a long time ago. Probably from inhaling all those hair removal chemicals.
Yep .. and after Brit's show my TV goes off again
Press release.
He has talked to Whittington today; he was informed of the problem this morning and what the doctors were going to do; after he watched the PRESS CONFERENCE at the hospital, he called Whittington.
Imagine him watching those fools slam those doctors!!! I'm surprised he didn't get sick!
