At no point did I say that Katherine Harris is a good candidate, or that she should be the nominee. And all of my previous FL postings had mentioned that Bill Nelson was a bland, unspiring candidate who had made little impression. So I haven't pulled a John Kerry.

But I admit, the race has tightened more than I had expected.

You've flip-flopped, Johnny. You just said she has a chance, and I could easily pull up more than a few posts of yours where you called for her immediate withdrawal because she had no chance of winning. We've got nine months to go. I would still rate Nelson a slight favorite, but I can't imagine anyone in his campaign feels good about a 49% number for an incumbent in a state that's been trending GOP lately.
