Saw three Bald Eagles in Yellowstone last month. Very magestic birds.
Roger that. I used to go canoeing on the Big Blue river in southern Indiana. There is an eagle preserve in the Ky Danial Boone National Forrest and I used to see them flying over all the time. With their wings spread they are much bigger than one would imagine and magestic is a very apt descrition of what they look like when flying overhead.
I've seen dozens along the Mississippi between Iowa and Illinois. They nest along lock & dam #15 and every year Rock Island hosts Bald Eagle Days for a weekend.
