White House kick these losers to the curb. Get rid of them and bring in the New Media. These loser need access to the Admin NOT vice versa. Time they learn an objective lesson about their utter insignifcance in the real world

I think this is the classic question. Typifies the breathless foaming at the mouth media.

"Q Scott, would this be much more serious if the man had died? Would that change the --

MR. McCLELLAN: Of course it would, Connie. It would have been terrible."

These transcripts should have details on exactly who is asking the question and what "news" outlet they work for.

MR. McCLELLAN: Go ahead, Connie.

Q Is it proper for the Vice President to offer his resignation or has he offered his resignation --

MR. McCLELLAN: That's an absurd question. Go ahead, Ken.

NOW I understand Laura Ingraham's show intro / promo ...Connie

Good grief. They are just hysterical that Cheney didn't put down the gun and immediately place a call to all of them. What weirdos.

The mindless losers of the MSM are exactly that. High school kids could do a better job of real journalism, that these shills for the ThugoRat party. What an embarassment -- to think we have soldiers who have died to protect the FREEDOM OF THIS PRESS --- disgusting.

I think my answer to that smartass David Gregory would've been, "Perhaps on the Vice President's next hunting trip, you'd like to be chief quail-flusher?"

Who do they think they are? Just once I would give an organ to hear a WH press secretary say something like, " we did not deem it your business until we wanted you to know, end of questions!" Interview over. Cheney shoul dnever field a prss corps question about this topic.

I really loathe the press corps. I see no Constitutional law that says they have to be notified about anything. This happened on private property and they have no inherit right to have the story. They are only mad because the local paper got it first. I love it when the MSM has to read the newspaper to get the news!

I've been saying on this forum since he was appointed that McLellan is pathetic. Here he is, the face and voice of the most important political administration in the world, and he's pathetic.

I always take a lot of flak when I comment on the consistent ineptitude of Repubublican PR, from the administration of Bush 1 to the present Bush 2 administration. Slow to defend itself, loathe to attack, the PR of both the Administration and the RNC are pathetic also.

Ari WAS a bright spot. He knew how to use the rapier rather than the sledgehammer. The press got away with very little when Ari was at the podium. He was in control. But McClellan has no such ability and is not quick-witted at all. He's a nice guy, but pedestrian and unsure of himself. The vulturous reporters knew this from the beginning and they swarm all over him while he stands there haplessly, repeating ineffective helpless-sounding words.

The above transcript shows Scott's lack of control of the conference, his fear of making mistakes, and his subservience to the press. His responses were LAME, LAME, LAME. This situation should be intolerable to the White House. He should have been eased out long ago.

The President is receiving poor service from his PR staff and his advisors. This shooting accident is one example of an incident that has been blown up to a "scandal" when it shouldn't have been.

I have been pounding on this situation in both Bush administrations. I have always commented on it more in sorrow than in anger....well, maybe both.

Petulance on parade! These reporters are children who are angry they weren't told first. That's all it is.

To see that slobbering David Gregory melt down was delicious. How that guy manages to continue getting a paycheck is amazing.

On topic of Cheney, the press is just upset that they could have sold more newspapers if the story was released in time for the Sunday morning printing. They are making an issue because they know they lost $$ on the release time of the story.

A man was shot and all they care about is how many hours sooner they should have been informed. If this had been the Clinton administration, no questions would have been answered for months, if ever, because of an "ongoing investigation."
