We'll have to start using an acronym for blame placing.

Yes, well, I'm sorry to hear he's not doing well.

>but then I don't see Cheney exactly coming out and acknowledging that he made a mistake either

Well he did. He acknowledged he made a mistake. So you did personally not see him do it. Big deal.

Since when did the MSM round up 14 hours to 24 hours?

Bad math skills.

I expected a public apology from Clinton for disgracing the Presidency when his adulterous behavior became public. But a private person wouldn't owe an apology to anyone except his wife.

Cheney didn't commit an immoral act, but he made a mistake. It's one of the crosses people in public office have to bear.

Clinton owed the public an apology because he decided to go on national TV and LIE to the public. Cheney did no such thing and does not owe an apology to ANYONE except Harry Whittington

When quail pop up in front of you, your heart races and your adrenaline flows...and sometimes it scares the you know what out of ya. But you never ever shoot in a near parallel line to the ground. You might hit someone. This rule must apply since you are focussed on and following your chosen foul you must keep your barrel aimed higher and must always be aware of the position of your barrel and the others in your party.

There is no way to fire into the air to only hit someone on the ground.

Mr. Cheney has now made a personal appearance and taken full responsibility for what happened. The story has basically been neutralized. In the meantime, it did harm to the image of the Administration in the eyes of the American people. It was foolish to let this story drag out without a personal acknowledgment from Mr. Cheney until Tuesday evening.
