My son Gary, as Director of Political Affairs for the GW College Republicans, handled the arrangemets for the event. The editors of the GW student newspaper "consented" to allowing him to write an article after the event, defending the CR's decision to invite Coulter, after squashing the article he submitted before her visit. I thought the Ann Coulter fans here on Free Republic would enjoy reading his article.
Ahem! Picture?

Get yer bumper stickers now, before they sell out!
I've got a great picture of her with my son taken after her speech, but I don't know how to post it. Can I send it to you and have you post it for me?
There are rules, you know...
That is clout, whenh the best reason that Kerry has for being against something is because Ann is for it.
You go girl!
Glad they had a good time.
You can send it to my email address listed on my "about page" and I'll post it for you if you want me to.
Seems there have been a couple of threads on this topic but apparently the discussion was too controversial for the Mods so both of them were pulled. Wonder if your thread will defeat the Great Admindragon?
I would vote for that ticket any day!!!
I'm pretty new to this, not sure I could post it either.
Perhaps a more senior Freeper could help?
"Conversely, her criticism of Harriet Miers caused many on the right to question the nominee's conservative credentials."
Nice article, all in all, but I do take issue with this one statement. Anyone who took the time to delve into Harriet Miers' background rapidly came to the conclusion that she was ill-qualified. Here on FR, it boiled down to diehard Bush loyalists who refused to question his pick, attacking those who (rightly) noted that Miers was poorly suited for the role, who in turn attacked the loyalists, and round and round and round. Ann Coulter came in with her commentary in the middle of all this, not at the beginning. Her "cleaning lady" comment actually garnered sympathy for Harriet Miers. Far from leading conservatives by the nose, she is a mouthpiece for conservative sentiment ... a catty, abrasive, often hilarious and usually highly effective one. But she is no pied piper.
glad to hear it!
Getting the conservatives out there to counter the lies, distortions and untruths of the MSM. Good job and hats of to young Republicans who refuse to be shut out of the public agenda.
