So we can expect the newsies to:
1. Follow the money back to bin boy.
2. Forget Cheney's weekend mishap.
Yeah, right.
""......this is one of those times when something MUST be said.""
I strongly agree!!! Gore needs to be publicly confronted for what he said.
What's even scarier is that 20% of the 49% did it from the grave!
This following are the Republicans secret weapons.
Howard Dean, the Democratic Black Caucus, Jimmy Carter and Al Gore.
How can the Democratic party be so out of touch with the American people.
Al Gore is the biggest sore loser the world has ever known.
Ever.
If this family is anti-Bin Ladin...then why aren't THEY FINDING HIM for US???
Will someone arrest this fool? Please. We've more than patient with this lunatic.
Did you think it possible that he just flew over there on his own nickel to speak out of the goodness of his heart?
That would have required a heart. And goodness.
I believe that this explains why 43 seems to let a few things slide. He knows that if he aggressively pursues some of the dirty connections of the Democrats, it will expose 41. (I didn't know about Neil, but that doesn't help, either.) IMO, the Democrats' hands are waaaaay dirtier, but if the media get hold of this story it will be all Republican dirt, all the time.
I think it's why he encouraged 41 to hangout with Clinton, to keep an eye on him in order to prevent more shenanigans. He couldn't risk exposing Clinton directly, because the dirt would splash back on the Bush family.
"Chatting with hubby tonight and while we're amazed tht the President doesn't seem to go on the attack......this is one of those times when something MUST be said."
He can't go on the attack because his father and brother are tainted with this money, too. Never mind that there are differences as to when and how much. If the media get hold of this story, they will spin it hard against the Republicans in general and Bush in particular.
By keeping the focus on the OBL group the traitor gets a pass.
Big mistake IMO.
Excellent point. I had my focus in the wrong place.
Do you think it would be possible to do any good by focusing on his comments, or do you think that just gives him more attention and it's better to ignore him. (If you have kids, this would be sort of like ignoring the kid who is chewing with his mouth open just to annoy his sister. Since attention is what he's after, the best punishment is pretending not to notice.)
He's gotten right porky looking! Wonder how many times he had to go to the bathroom during his speech.
IMO, it's best not to ignore this from albore. If it's all about attention, he'll only go further in his next speech.
Gore looks like Arafat with that turban on. YIKES !!!
"Because Al will do or say anything for a few pieces of silver..."
....Or a butter biscuit.
I snagged it off Malkin's blog.
