The head of Iran's Jewish community has written a letter of complaint to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad about the leader's repeated insistence that the Holocaust never happened. "How is it possible to ignore all of the undeniable evidence existing for the exile and massacre of the Jews in Europe during World War II?" said Haroun Yashayaei in the letter, which was written two weeks ago but faxed to news agencies only yesterday. "Challenging one of the most obvious and saddening events of 20th-century humanity has created astonishment among the people of the world and spread fear and anxiety among the small Jewish community of Iran." Two months ago, Ahmadinejad called the Holocaust a myth, and last month, he announced that Iran planned to sponsor a conference to "investigate the evidence for the Holocaust." A Jewish community leader declined to comment on whether Ahmadinejad had replied to the letter, which was penned on behalf on the entire Jewish community.

Geez this guy has big stones. I would not want to be publically jewish in Iran these days, or any days for that matter.
It is remarkable how people respond to oppressive government. The rest of the world has much to learn from the Jewish community. Yes, this person, and the entire Iranian Jewish community is very brave.
