Maybe he was trying to impress Jodie Foster.

Hm... Doesn't that mean that he just opened himself up for a slander lawsuit?

Actually, for Franken, that's funny!

Franken is not funny. There must be some degree of truth for something to be funny.

I've heard cocaine makes some people think everything they do or say is funny.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Let Franken have his fun. He's a little man who has so little to be happy about.

He would hide behind "satire" and the fact Cheney is a "public figure".

I wonder which children's charity is being raided to subsidize Franken's habit...?

Asked why he shot the man, the Vice President said, Just to watch him die.To be fair - this is hysterically funny. Also the Tarrantino gibe. Good for Franken.

Shows how much Franken knows about guns.
If Cheney wanted to kill his hunting mate, I don't think he would use a 28 guage shotgun at 100 feet.
Wrong weapon for the wrong prey at the wrong distance.

He implied that the VPOTUS is guilty of attempted murder.
Insanity.

Actually, I kind of agree. I usually don't like Franken's attempts at humor, but this sort of made me chuckle. It's an old Johnny Cash quote, no? "I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die."
