To: Nasty McPhilthy
Carter has to be placed in the bottom 5 US presidents. Personally, I have him in the bottom 3. Some would put him at the very bottom.

No matter how you slice it, the man was an abject failure. And I'm sure he knows it, which is why he's so bitter.

I would put him 1 above the guy who caught pneumonia at his inauguration and died a short time later.

I have him at #1 of the worst for a number of reasons.

One of them is that while other presidents have made striking mistakes, or allowed breathtaking mistakes to be made, none have combined virtually every type of possible mistake that positively damages America, both economically and politically, both at home and abroad, while weakening America's position in long time terms, as Carter did, while doing virtually nothing at all, of any importance at all.

and he is still doing it!

The Panama Canal giveaway alone would be disgraceful, but it was just one example in a very long list, and I have a very long memory.

I voted for that fool, and yes, I am bitter about that.
