Dear (NEA Chairman) Dana Gioia:
I write to you today, not with a request, but with a demand. Ive been sitting back patiently while the NEA has been promoting anti-Christian art for a number of years. In fact, one could say that I have been supporting it, too, given that my tax dollars have been spent on this garbage. And maybe Ive been supporting it in another way by refusing to write you to express my frustration. That is, until now.
In the spirit of the separation of church and state, my demand is that you commission a painting fully funded with tax dollars that has one intention and one intention only: To offend Muslims everywhere

not being offended enough to riot over cartoons is a western value. just because we think this way does not mean others think that way nor will they ever think that way in the forseeable future. this article is comparing apples to persimmons, it has skipped the orange grove completely.

Adams is a funny guy, I was going to originate this post, went to freerepublic, and what do you know, first post.

"...it has skipped the orange grove completely."
And one doesn't understand why Darwinists should be "posterized," so to speak - have they been on the side of the terrorists, too?

well, imo, darwinists have absolutely been on the terrorists side. most do so by omission. look, there is a reason we have achieved the greatness we have as a nation, and there is one major point of differentiation between the usa and the rest of the world. i know many on here know what that point is.

Funny you should post that. I had an idea along the same vein as "Piss Christ". It was called "Religion of Blood" and was simply a copy of the Quran wrapped in barb wire and immersed in a solution of pig and human blood all of which were in a glass tank, lit from below.

Don't know; can't say.
I have no idea what the Mohammedan position is on evolution/creationism/ID; I've never seen anything on the subject.

Well your opinion is idiotic. Darwinists equated with Islamofachists. What a friggin joke. You sir, I would call an ignoramus, lest the fact you do the word ignoramus injustice.
To: decal
well, i think we can safely say based on anecdotal evidence that in an islamic society, if you spout evolution, you will probably lose your head if not other body parts very quickly. i was referring to american evos and athiests as being hand in hand with terrorists. usually be omission, but guilty nonetheless.

regardless of how upset you are regarding my post. it is correct. logic says so and logic is not wrong.

Please I beg of thee, put up someone with a coherent thought. Your one issue transparency does no justice to people with any intellectual depth. You are no better than Louis Farrakhan in your blather. You one issue identify with conservatism because of your beliefs, but you make people who understand what conservatism means look bad.

of course im a bad person. this would be because i understnd quite clearly that the greatness of the usa comes from its inhernet belief in the creator blessing this great land. yep, those are my thoughts and they are just too horrible for you to swallow. btw, i know of no athiestic govt or society that has created much of value at all, but dont let the facts confuse you.

Turk, what is the Islamic view of the theory of evolution in Turkey?
