Ohno finishes 4th when he lost it when his left hand hitting the skate of the Chinese skater and then slapping into a lane marker...bummer dude.

No... not his only race. Ohno is in all Men's Short Track events, 500m, 1000m, 1500m , and 5000m Relay.

According to a news article, Ohno's got three more events. The article also says Allison Baver, also a short-track racer is his girlfriend.

I think he has more races....but the hype was to have him and the skater from the Utah olympics meet again....oh well

More Michelle coming up....will we ever get past her dropping out? We have 3 skaters that will be going for the gold....will they ever get mentioned without bringing up Michelle?

That is not a fair assessment of what happened.

No, it wasn't, lol. It was Shaun White, the Flying Tomato, the snowboarder / skateboarder. He's a multimillionaire and owns four houses, among other things.

Nope... especially if Emily Hughes medals. Then you'll forever be hearing about how "Kwan opened the door for her".

BLEAH!

I could never understand curling either.

Curling is the NPR of olympic sports.

I'll be reading along, when I can. I'm just not up for this tonight. Have had a splitting headache all day that won't go away, no matter what I do to it.

I never get colds and I never have headaches; now I've had both in the past few days. I also haven't recovered from the decongestant that was in the cold medicine completely frying my sinuses (which I suspect is part of this horrible headache)--my nose lining feels like I stood outside in minus 20 degree weather for a day or so. I haven't even been outside in two days and it was over 70 degrees then.

Anyway, the sound of the TV is too loud for me to deal with, so I'm not paying any attention to the Olympics. See y'all later if I come back from the dead.

I remember when the athletes weren't even known before the olympics....and it was a team thing. Where winning the gold was the gateway to greater things. Oh well....they're still the cream of the crop even if sometimes they're total egomaniacs.

I wish I understood this snowboard thing.....they all look good unless they crash!

Bless your heart....here's an old fashioned remedy for sinus headache. Wet a small towel as hot as you can stand and put it across your eyes. It really works!

Hope you feel better soon.

Well, I'm glad he has more chances. It has to be really disappointing to have a mistake like that happen.
