"the United Arab Emirates is poised to take over significant operations at six American ports as part of a corporate sale, leaving a country with ties to the Sept. 11 hijackers with influence over a maritime industry considered vulnerable to terrorism. The Bush administration considers the United Arab Emirates an important ally in the fight against terrorism" Right, and Putin is head of a 'democratic' Russia and is our friend. The southern border is safe enough as is because those who breach it are merely coming here to work. Come on Bush, it's time to take the head out of the sand.

While we're at it, why don't we put them in charge of our airport screeners, subway security and Los Alamos?

Dang! I searched using keyword Dubai and also the title itself, but neither search turned up these articles. No wonder, each article has its own unique title. Go figure.
Mods, guess this will have to be pulled?

the one word search allways works best, like Dubai, ports, even 6 or 'six'

Now I see why they didn't show up in my search. None of the three articles you linked had Dubai in their keywords, yet.

Does anyone know of any other foreign companies running operations at U.S. ports?

The Bush administration considers the United Arab Emirates an important ally in the fight against terrorism" Both Bush Administrations bent over for their Arab masters.
