Rainbow Coalition racism By Tribune-Review
Something to consider, though. The superheros of the black movement -- Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton -- are noticeably absent when a black Republican is attacked.
They have no problem donning their race-card capes when a liberal black is attacked. But they had a hard time finding Maryland on the map when New York Sen. Chuck Schumer's henchmen did an illegal credit check on Michael Steele.
Where was their outrage? Their circus-like news conferences?

Hits the nail on the head.
No matter how libs try to cover this up, it is becoming so glaring that only the most obtuse can ignore it.
Conservative black men and women aren't black, silly!
Willingly ignorant and dishonest is perhaps more accurate.
Good post. Zito's got it right.
They don't mean well. They're the biggest bigots around.
The current Black leadership is racist. That includes the entire Congressional Black Caucus, the NAACP, and all the assorted America haters like Jackson, Sharpton, Nagin, Belafonte, Lowery, Conyers, Waters, etc., etc. They have failed the Black masses, as the Democrat "Slavery" Party has done, and are trying to hold sway forever. Unfortunately, with this leadership group, American Blacks are going nowhere. Fortunately, enough Blacks are getting the picture little by little, and the winds of change are now slightly afoot. It is really shame to see so many American Blacks hoodwinked by these traitors. I guess they must really like being part of Ray Nagin's NO legions.
ie The Gimmees
When will we hear about the investigation of the domestic spying conducted by Senator Schumer's office?
Celebrating a Century and a Half of Civil Rights Achievement by the Republican Party
Republicans held our first stat convention in Jackson, Michigan on July 6, 1854. That fall, the GOP swept to victory throughout the North. Other anti-slavery Members of Congress joined the party, so that less than two years later, on February 2, 1856, Republicans elected a Republican Speaker of the House. The Republican National Committee first met the next month, to coordinate opposition to the pro-slavery policies of the Democrats, also known then as "slaveocrats."
And that summer, Republicans held our first national convention. There, we nominated our first presidential candidate, the Georgia-born form California Senator John Fremont. Four years later, we won the White House for the "Great Emancipator."
As the nation sacrificed during the Civil War, Republicans planned the most significant amendments ever to our Constitution and enacted - despite fierce opposition from the Democrats - the 13th Amendment to ban slavery, the 14th Amendment to protect all Americans regardless of the color of their skin, and the 15th Amendment to extend voting rights to African-Americans. The Republicans' 1875 Civil Rights Act guaranteed equal access to public accommodations without regard to race. Struck down by the Supreme Court in 1883, this law would be reborn as the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
"Every man that wanted the privilege of whipping another man to make him work for nothing, and pay him with lashes on his naked back, was a Democrat. Every man that raised bloodhounds to pursue human beings was a Democrat. Every man that cursed Abraham Lincoln because he issued the Emancipation Proclamation was a Democrat." - Robert Ingersoll, 1876.
For its first 80 years, the Republican Party was the only one to provide a home for Afican-Americans. Until well into the 20th century, every African-American Member of Congress was a Republican. The same was true for nearly all state legislators and other elected officials.
Wow...in the maine stream press, no less. Fantastic--and 100% true. Thanks for posting.
Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are racists.

Short of WWII, can someone tell me when Democrats have been on the RIGHT side of history?
Sums it nicely
This will be the nail in the coffin for the dems.
Blacks know racism when they see it. Racism against conseravives blacks is just as tasteless as racism against any black person. It isn't difficult to figure out.
They know where it comes from."Conservatives are evil racist" just doesn't play anymore to an educated middle class black population. It will hurt the dems.
So True Bump!
