It's way to early for any accurate assessments of these candidates.
One thing however is a given... a lot of people don't like Hillary Clinton.

In my dreams, anyone would say that!
Illegal immigration as well as the "anchor baby" problem, is the most critical issue facing our Country today.
It will not be swept under the carpet for the next elections.

It's Allen vs Hillary or Allen vs Warner. Allen to win either but of course will be much closer and tougher with Warner.

22% Allen
20% McCain
19% Giuliani
I can understand the first two on this list. The third choice is baffling. Looks like some liberals made it into the CPAC gathering and skewed the voting.

I think Allen has the personality of a tree stump. Freepers who can't see that he has a severe personality deficiency just can't see.

Looks like some liberals made it into the CPAC gathering and skewed the voting.Maybe not as far-fetched as you'd think. I posted a Salon article here yesterday written by one of their stooges who attended the function and he took copius notes. He claimed he was 'most interested' in what Allen had to say.
The commies KNOW that we like Allen.

Allen? Except for Barbour and Santorum, he'd probably be my choice on that lame list. YET, I just watched Allen on Fox News Sunday and saw an overly self-conscious, eager to please senator who was just plain boring, and someone who got badly whupped during the national security part of the discussion by a back-bencher like Senator Sneed (Rhode Island).
We're in DEEP, DEEP trouble if it's Allen in 2008.

But glad Hagel did so poorly.... I don't want or trust McCain, but like or trust Hagel a lot less.

If we can't do any better than McLame, we deserve to loose. Allen needs much more face time!

It's a setup. The lefty media and the establishment is trying to feed us another Bob Dole. They told us he "was electable" too. I remember barely being able to make myself vote, and it was Clinton he was running against.
The only thing that would make most of the non Rino's here support either of the two front runners is fear and loathing of Hillary Clinton. Now fear and loathing really helped us out back in 1996, didn't it?
Moderates stand for very little. They are status quo, get along with the Democrats, stab you in the back types. In certain socialist bastions, electing one of them is a plus over a totalitarian Bolshevik Democrat. But national elections are not the time to run them.

"I think Giuliani would destroy Hillary in the election as probably would McKean. "
Why doesn't the far left RUDY take on Hillary this year in his home state for the Senate?
Maybe he could win there!

"the ole RINO will cut a deal with the 'RATS or will do a Perot."
I wouldn't worry too much about McCrazy splitting the Republican vote. He is no Republican and would get very few Republican votes. He is much more in line with the dimwits. He would suck more votes from them.
Right now he has name ID, but not enough people know anything about him. To know him is to fear him. Once people get to know him for what he really is they will change their opinion.
