I see what you're saying and in fact, I get quite irritated with some of the knee-jerk, drama queen reactions to things I see on here.

Everyone seems to be so "BLOW IRAN TO HELL" when we really know that is not a solution.

I'm not in favor of this either (proximity notwithstanding) and get so annoyed at the armchair generals around here who seem to think nuking things or dropping daisycutters on them are the only ways to resolve them. I've tangled with quite a few FReepers who get their noses out of joint when I call them on this.

But, I can see a scenario where we might have to take those sites out. Might. I believe that ball is in Iran's court right now.

The genuine answer is a combination of clandestine strikes on Iran's facilities, and provoking a revolution. Iran, for all its oil wealth, is squandering its riches - its economy is terrible. Furthermore, the youth of Iran are thoroughly disaffected by the enthusiasms of their elders. This is an opportunity to be exploited.
