But where our desires are and our hopes profound,
Felt as a well-spring that is hidden from sight,
To the innermost heart of their own land they are known
As the stars are known to the Night;
As the stars that shall be bright when we are dust,
Moving in marches upon the heavenly plain,
As the stars that are starry in the time of our darkness,
To the end, to the end, they remain.

I sit here with frozen fingers unable to type the words that will fully reflect my thankfulness for men such as LCpl Steven Phillips' service and sacrifice to this country. The sorrow of the loss breaks our hearts.
May God forever bless his family. He is surely blessing these United States of America with courageous patriotic men and women as these serving now.

Oh, these types of stories are particularly sad. God bless this dear boy and his family.
My daughter got a call from her boyfriend yesterday. He was in Iraq for a year, but has now been moved to Kuwait. He is coming home to the states in early April. We think that at this point he is safe, but you never know.
