"Coulter DID oppose John Roberts."

She opposed Roberts on the premise that there were more qualified and known candidates available.

Her suspicions and reticence were even more justified when the under-whelming Harriet Miers was chosen next on the basis of the President's given credentials of "just trust me."

She thought he'd be a pig in a poke. But they all are, to some extent. Washington gets to most of them and pulls them to the left. Ultimately, like school children, they feel hurt when they don't get invited to the dinner parties.

Coulter DID oppose John Roberts

"Maybe Roberts will contravene the sordid history of 'stealth nominees' and be the Scalia or Thomas that Bush promised us when he was asking for our votes. Or maybe he won't. The Supreme Court shouldn't be a game of Russian roulette." Ann Coulter

It was fair commentary when she made it.

And YOU, sinky, supported that vapid functionary Harriet Meiers, and were SURE that she would be confirmed. WRONG and WRONG.

Have a nice day.
