My God. I recently read a book about Philippines POW camps. I hope Omori was even half more civilized.

So many brave and strong men were brutalized by the japs in these camps.

Curious,apparently your dad survived or you wouldn`t be posting,but what kind of condition was he in when he was freed from that camp?Was he a pilot also?

I loved that show when it was on.Pappy was a hero no doubt.

It`s unbelievable to me to be protesting a Medal of Honor winner.

They have no shame and nothing but hate for America or `murika as they call it

Thank you for sharing. I have the utmost respect for our WW2 veterans and especially those POW's. Pappy is only one of a very few that are/were human that I think are truly better than I.

I am afraid these little campus *&%^$& over time will white wash our hero's and turn them into criminals. This type of action is devastating to me.

I thank you and your father for your families sacrifices. For he is a real American Hero in my eyes. God Bless
