Although this is a horrible picture and I wont post my comments about the whole thing, I am not sure that is a smile. My Own Opinion based on the single photo. It might be an "anguish" look, he might also be crying. If he is, I hope he sees through the thin veil of what his own kind are capable of and comes to his senses. I could be convinced otherwise.

They save the circumcission for a one-time deal when he turns 13, and can really appreciate it, whether he likes it or not.
