Bull sh!t - Look at the politics of the Jewish contingent of NYC. They mindlessly vote Democrat as reliably as do blacks and are just as much on the Democrat's "plantation" as are blacks. Having the holocaust as an example, they continue to support socialism, wealth redistribution, gun control, increased taxation, and larger and more powerful government. This is not a rational choice.

I could make a good case for the Chinese and some other middleman Asian groups.
But then, I've rarely met a stupid Irishman either. My own personal theory is if the Irish could put down the drink long enough to take up the industriousness of the Italians and the perserverance of the Germans, they'd rule the world.

Jewish ancestry alone isn't any more OR less intellectually "gifted" than any other ethnic ancestry.
However, to the extent that Jewish culture encourages development of human intellectual capabilities, they have made tremendous contributions to modern civilization. The same can be said for many other ethnic backgrounds.
