The people of North Carolina are mostly conservative, with the exceptions of Chapel Hill and segments of Raleigh and Charlotte.
I attended the Governors School of NC in 1975. It was an edgy place then too, but nothing about being gay. Then again, it was over 30 years ago. But Governors School did challenge some of our beliefs, which I think is a good thing. The kids there are pretty smart kids (even though they let me in). The school is meant to challenge you for six weeks in the summer after your sophomore or junior year.

I met a few rather "left-wing" types in Asheville a few weeks ago. If you haven't been there in decades, you'd probably find it's changed a bit.

So maybe as an alum, you can wield some influence there? to get rid of this crap that "conveniently" bypassed parental notification?

The absolute perfect time for the homos to slip in their indoctrination--when boys are becoming men and are most confused about sexuality.
As I said, this was not done by accident. The homo-predators are after your kids.

I attended in the school in 1985 if I remember right. I know it was the worst six weeks of that summer. Didn't see anything too much wrong there then. But heck I dated a girl for awhile from the NC School of the Arts a couple of years later. Now you want to see some fruits, that's the school for strangeness
