"Millions were not slaughtered. I dare you to cite one source that agrees with that number."

In quibbling about details are you accepting the fact that the RC church killed many Christians?

No, the Catholic Church killed no one. Fallible men acting in the name of the Catholic Church were responsible for the deaths of some, just as fallible men acting on behalf of some "reforming spirit" killed thousands of Catholics in England and Gemrany--and killed hundreds for the simple fact that they were ordained Catholic priests.

I'm still waiting for your source on the "millions" comment... I reckon I'll wait a long time.

There's a bit of a difference between "millions" and 10,000 or so, spread over several centuries. And many of those were not, in fact, Christians, though sadly some were.

Are you okay with the fact that hundreds of Catholics were executed by the state in Britain for no crime except that of practicing their faith? Or that the rest were given the choice between poverty, exile, or conversion? Are you familiar with the fact that, when the Lutheran armies sacked Rome in 1527, many of the inhabitants thought they were witnessing the end of the world? That's what I mean about reading history written by actual historians, not by fundamentalist polemicists like Dave Hunt.
