I was sure they said the cylinders were modified to accept the clips, but they were much faster than speed loaders since you just drop them in and close the cylinder.
I want to look into this because they would be great for my Colt Python. I would never alter the Python, because it's a Python and because it was my dads duty gun for years.

I'm like you are and wouldn't think of modifying Dad's gun. Call around and see if someone has a used or new, Colt Python cylinder, perhaps you'll get lucky and then modify that cylinder.

Yeah. I know. I didn't put a sarcasm tag in my post because I didn't figure one was needed.
But we are talking about Portland and the water gets a bit muddy when when one worries about getting shot there and by whom, so I was only half joking. That's probably the source of confusion.
