Hmmm. I went with a neighbor to shoot steel last summer. His two friend were shooting S&W 686 wheel guns that used full moon clips. These guys were fast with those revolvers.

I was sure they said the cylinders were modified to accept the clips, but they were much faster than speed loaders since you just drop them in and close the cylinder.

I want to look into this because they would be great for my Colt Python. I would never alter the Python, because it's a Python and because it was my dads duty gun for years.

I'm like you are and wouldn't think of modifying Dad's gun. Call around and see if someone has a used or new, Colt Python cylinder, perhaps you'll get lucky and then modify that cylinder.
