He still has three vacancies to fill in the D.C. circuit court of appeals, and only one nominee so far (guy blocked in senate for ages).

Brett Kavanaugh. First nominated on July 25, 2003, he was the only pending nomination returned to the President when the Senate recessed at the end of December, 2005. He was renominated by the President on January 25. Hillary! Clinton is thought to be behind the return.

Kavanaugh has earmarks of being a crony pick, and was involved in the Vince Foster aspect of Ken Starr's investigations into the Clintons. Reid has expressed a desire to filibuster the Kavanaugh nomination, too.

Michael B. Wallace is a partner in the Jackson, Mississippi, office of Phelps Dunbar. His practice is concentrated in commercial and constitutional litigation, with special emphasis on appeals in both the state and federal systems. Mr. Wallace served as a law clerk to Justice Harry G. Walker of the Supreme Court of Mississippi and to Justice William H. Rehnquist of the United States Supreme Court. After practicing law in Biloxi, he served as counsel to Representative Trent Lott. He was chairman of the Legal Services Corporation under Presidents Reagan and Bush and served for ten years as a member of the Administrative Conference of the United States. He served as Special Counsel to Senator Lott for the impeachment trial of President Clinton, and he represents the Mississippi Republican Party in the ongoing Congressional redistricting litigation. Mr. Wallace received his B.A. in government from Harvard and his J.D. from the University of Virginia, where he served on the law review.

The democRATs have to put out the word "filibuster" just to keep their angry, liberal, extremist, base quiet. The whacked out DUmmie base is pushing the dems off a cliff. Woo! Hoo!

Yes, Kerry even called in from Switzerland to announce he will filibuster Alito!
