I must have awaken in a parallel universe or something.
Am I over reacting here?
Does everyone understand this but me?
Where is everybody?
Why has FR been so quiet lately?

NO!
It's the frog being boiled slowly and an apathetic nation could not care less.

The best thing for my personal mental health would be for us to kick the U.N. out of the country. The next (equal) would be for us to get out of the dirty organisation all together.

That is ok, I don't like Donna either.
I'm just major league shocked here at what I'm reading and I'm looking for someone, somewhere to tell me I'm just confused.

Beats the living daylights out of me. It sure wasn't my idea. Between this and Agenda 21, things are going to be pretty bleak unless you're an UN Apparatchik if this stuff is allowed unimpeded.
The information you present is very troubling, but I'm glad you did it.
By the way, I love the website you put up. I'm glad to see the linking up with the 4H and FFA, too.

I don't think you are overreacting. This is scary stuff...and what's worse is that most of the groundwork has already been implemented in the US.
As far as FR, there mostly seems to be two types of people. Those who only care that "their guy" is in power right now, and those that have seen the writing on the wall, but feel helpless to stop it. Well, maybe there is a third type...I did get my post pulled.

Didn't W try to ram a program with mandatory mental health screening down everyone's throats not too long ago?

Nam Vet, did you see posts 1 and 2? What does this UNESCO program mean and why are our governmental departments partnered with NGO groups?

The best of my understanding on the matter is that amicus briefs are basically legal opinion pieces brought to the court by parties that have an interest in the outcome of a particular case. For example, if a Second Amendment case went before SCOTUS, the NRA would most likely file an amicus brief that would detail their position on the matter and why they feel that way on it.

One of the little-noticed and little-reported items in President George W. Bush's speech to the U.N. General Assembly last week was the U.S. pledge to rejoin UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. In his speech, President Bush declared that "As a symbol of our commitment to human dignity, the United States will return to UNESCO. This organization has been reformed and America will participate fully in its mission to advance human rights and tolerance and learning."
There's your answer, Cal...
To: AZ_Cowboy
Thanks; but it won't be there for long. NAIS is going to kill 4H and FFA.
