It never will, unless you can observe it (ie, create a universe).....

Much evidence has been found in support of it, though.... not to say the case is closed....

Of course, relativity isn't fact, either, by the same standards.

It's actually just an alternate "Creation" theory. In my view as much faith is needed to believe it as for a literal belief in Genesis.

People needs to realize that most scientific principles are "theories" because to prove them as fact would take many centuries. The data does indicate that the Big Bang is how the universe came into existence, but since it would take thousands of years to prove it as fact, it is still called a theory. It doesn't make it any less believable.
