Don't worry, if these jets are like most Russian equipment they're total garbage.

Like any other aircraft that could be sold to Iran they won't be of any use as smoldering ash on some cratered runway.

Good when we send the B-2's, F-117's, F-22's and cruise missiles we can target the hangers along with the regime and nuclear facilities. :)

Su-25 isn't a fighter, per se - it's an attack aircraft, along the lines of an A-10, only somewhat faster than the A-10. Hate to try to fly one against a real air-to-air dogfighter.

The sources said the contract was concluded in 2005 and deliveries would take place in 2006.I'd sure like to know the EXACT date that this contract with Russia was concluded. I'm not into wearing tinfoil, but I still don't trust Russia.

It really doesn't matter how good these jets are when the Iranians only have three of them. They would be destroyed quickly if deployed against several U.S. jets.
To: Wiz
Three targets. Wouldn't want to be the pilots.
To: Wiz
This Russia-Iran connection lately is more like 'will work for food' where the 'sucker' is actually Russia.
Call me a heretic if you want but Iran (muslim nutbags) has plans to take over Russia before they will attack Israel or the US.

We prefer to call them................."target practice".

When BushCo succeeds with its plot to start a major war against Iran, all of us "real" Americans must sacrifice by placing more yellow ribbons on our SUV's.

A nice addition to the Russian fighter jets delivered by Iraq in Gulfwar I.

OK. Did anyone want to make another disparaging remark about the f-22 here?
This is why we need the f-22/f-35.
