Was Ed Sullivan in charge of this sensorship. The nerve. ABC censored the King Show today too. I am certainly glad they are looking out for the stupid.

I thought Keith Richard looked like he was 25, but that's just because when he was 25 he already looked like he was 70.

I always liked Devo's interpretation of "Satisfaction" much better.

"Are we men or are we DEVO"?

Never forget when they were on "Saturday Night Live".

I saw the Stones in 1978 in Memphis and Furry Lewis opened up for them. Again in 1994 and Blind Melon opened for them. This time around, $200 tickets just didn't seem right so I passed.

I have always been a Stones fan, Richards IMO is a master at the Telecaster and has contributed much to R&R. I thought their performance sucked but it always did live...

I think they're a bunch of hypocrites to acknowledge the restrictions, accept what was probably a lot of money, then complain.

If any 8-year old ACTUALLY picked that specific word out in a live version of Start Me Up (keeping in mind this is probably the first time the kid has ever seen/heard the Stones), I'd be amazed

You'd be surprised what an 8 year old picks up. Besides, when did "masking" become an excuse for subjecting children to pornographic stuff?

I agree. Very over rated after the 70's.
I saw they in the 80's at one of their many final tours at Foxborough Stadium. They were terrible.

Best live band I ever saw was The Alarm. Also, Bare Naked Ladies do a great live show.

Bring back Marching Bands for halftime at football games. Let the concert fans find another venue.

Aretha was standing on the 30 to the 35 yard line. She was freakin' huge. Look like she ate a blimp.

The Stones show I saw was very good, much better than I expected after seeing them many times on the old "Ed Sullivan Show". Richards was one of the first guitar players inducted into the "Playboy Musicians Hall of Fame". He is certainly excellent!

One of the worst shows I saw was Led Zepplin at Three Rivers Stadium in 1972 or 73. It took them four songs to get warmed up.

One fine show I saw at the Civic Arena was Black Sabbath with Ozzie Osborne, before anyone knew the names of anyone in the band. This was after the "Masters of Reality", their third album, came out. Awesome show! Also about 1971 or 72.

Don't you hate the "Retirement Tour" nonsense?
Final tour, last chance, ect...and then they are right back at it again.A few "big time"bands have pulled that crap- the Who, Eric Clapton, The Eagles.....

Nothing equals the live shows of KISS, except perhaps in theatrics, I always did enjoy Iron Maiden shows. KISS was louder

Jeeze. Retire already.

Exactly!

My daughter laughed all the way through their performance. She was hysterical watching the sagging skin on Mick Jagger's arms flop around. They have played hard for 40 years and it shows, big time. The scrawny old goats all look like they are ready for assisted living homes.

The Who were the worst. They had so many of those reunion shows. Who was their drummer after Keith Moon? They never invited him back for one of the reunion tours because he stunk so bad. They brought in some studio drummer instead.

Moody Blues do it also. They have the son of the 2nd bass player and they call it the original Moody Blues.

Kenny Jones was the first drummer on the Who "reunion " tours....after that I think it was Moons kid or some crazy nonsense.. Its been awhile but I know what you mean.
