Nana and I were just talking about how she was literally jerked around by a CNA trying to put the TED hose on her. There's a right way and a lot of wrong ways to get that done.
There certainly is..
It can be painful for both parties..

A CNA must not put on the TEDs so that it "shoves" against the surgical site..
(Knee or hip)
Getting it over the heel was always the hardest part for me..
But I could do it in my sleep now..
I hate to come on duty and see the TEDs pinched and not drawn smoothly..
That makes me NUTZ!
