Castro Invites Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (President of Iran) to Cuba

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has accepted an invitation to visit Cuba from President Fidel Castro, in gratitude for Cuba's support of Iran's nuclear program, the official Granma newspaper said on Tuesday.

Ahmadinejad accepted the invitation in Tehran from Cuban Ambassador Felipe Perez Roque. During his visit, the Iranian leader will attend the September 11-16 Non-Aligned Summit in Havana, the daily said.

On Saturday in Vienna, Cuba, Venezuela and Syria voted against a resolution of the International Atomic Energy Agency to refer Iran to the UN Security Council over a nuclear program the West suspects is weapons-oriented.

The Iranian President recently publicly thanked Cuba for its "dignified and principled" position during the IAEA's special meeting, which ended in a 27-3 vote in favour of reporting Iran to the UN council.

Separately, Granma announced that Iranian Parliament President Ghulam Ali Haddad Adel has accepted an invitation to visit Cuba from Cuba's National Assembly.

It's almost too good to be true. If all the other wannabee Hitlers,"Glorious leaders" and Terrorist supporters gathered in one place at the same time wouldn't be worth it to strike back on that day?

It seems to me like a perfect opportunity to eliminate two problems at the same time -- perhaps Kim Junk mentally Il and Hugo Chavez can be invited at the same time.

Very dangerous situation here. The Iranian President could use Cuba at the invitation of Castro to set up terror acts against America.
They could come up with a nuclear weapon in Cuba or give old materials from Cuba to Iran.

They could operate al Qaeda through communist Cubans talking to other Cubans in Florida which would help side-step the top secret program the Democrats exposed.

Yes, I agree, which is primarily my incentive to post this article; and, to try to draw people's attention to this serious problem.

To emphasize yet again the ongoing and critical importance of our borders as to security, and, particularly given the forged passport/visa gangs recently being uncovered from in South America.

I wrote earlier here that anyone can float over from Cuba and lay claim to refuge here but it proves nothing as to where their starting point was.

Castro, Hugo Chavez, Bolivia, Iran, North Korea...Cuba/Castro seems to be the central connection for all of them.

"...program the Democrats exposed..."

What is that? Castro's top level spies in Florida who were recently identified and charged for espionage in the U.S.? I don't know that "the Democrats" exposed that, however.

The wire tapping. We are listening to terrorist calling into speak with people in the USA.

I doubt Cubans calling into family for instance would be listened to under that program.

Now with this revelation between Iran and Castro, I would think they have to include Cubans in contact between Cuba and America as part of the wiretapping program by necessity.

Probably true though now right?

If Castro is now in relations with Iran who has a terrorist leader, don't we have to worry that Castro could be facilitating some terrorist attacks by Iran through it's own people.

I can see Iran and Castro causing this program to expand to the Island just off of Florida for our safety.

I think it could go that way, what do you think?

Ah, so, yes, agreed. Writing, however, that the wiretapping program was "exposed (by the) Democrats" seems to suggest a different take on the program, however. I think it's probably more accurate to describe it as "corrupted by the Democrats for self serving political gain."

It seems so sensible to most average Americans by comparison that calls to and from overseas SHOULD be at leat on the radar and specifically closely examined if and when it involves certain areas of the globe. To state the obvious which I'm sure you'll agree with.
