I did not think that after the Wellstone Memorial we would see such a thing again from the left; if anything, I thought their PR folks were not permit it.
There are few more despicable things than seeing men who profess to be Christians standing before the pulpit of a church of God, and politically attacking a fellow believer who has come to pay his respects to the dead. How has this opportunity to reach out to unbelievers on national TV furthered the cause of Christ today? What person who does not know Jesus will now come to Christianity as a result of the rants heard today by Jimmy Carter and the Reverends of the cloth who welcome those who support abortion and homosexuality but condemn those who dare vote Republican?
There will be a heightened accountability for those who teach, we are told this explicitly in the Bible. Woe to those who ruined this opportunity to reach out to those who do not know Christ. They will one day give account for this, and their standard of accountability will be higher. When the day came that those who claim to know Christ had the attention of the nation, it was hate and venom that flew towards the living, instead of just the respect and admiration for the dead that the occasion demanded.

There is no sanity left in that party, no one can hold back the reins. We just have to beat back the lies, and get our message out, ( A Dingy Harry Indictment wouldn't hurt) and November is ours.
