In another example of the 'revolving door' between biotech companies and regulatory agencies, the person who wrote the GMO regulations for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) was a lawyer who previously represented biotech-giant Monsanto. After writing the FDA legislation, the lawyer returned to work for Monsanto.
