No I haven't, but my husband was in the spying business during the cold war, and he had means of doing away with himself and any information that he had on his person. If he had been captured there is no doubt that he would have used it immediately. That is a hero.

Your husband was in the spying business, but is still alive. So it is obvious that even though you have 'no doubt', he really hasn't been 'put to the test' as McCain has.

Further, since your husband was in the spying business, you seem to ignore that McCain was not.

So, before you continue to pass judgement on a war veteran who survived as a POW, and seems to have served his country well (as opposed to Kerry, Gore and others), you should remember the above two points. Your point of reference hasn't been tested and proven, nor were the two gentleman you compared of the same occupation.
