I was on the other thread yesterday, and meant to ask a couple of questions regarding the rate of exchange between the ME and the US. Now if Denmark loses X amount of dollars by this boycott, how much does she make normally by trading with the US, and does the rate of exchange make it feasible for us to bump up their actual profits? Buying more will help them out, but it would be great for them to actually find that the boycott was better for them economically : )

Math seems to be my worst enemy, and I can't even talk about it, so hopefully you all know what I'm trying to say.

I have not commented on this subject yet. I suppose I have been trying to catch my breath after laughing my ass off!:-)

On the serious side, this rabble rousing has most definitely done more to damage public relations between adherents to Islam and the rest of the world than anything thus far, including the Fatwa against a book author and the recent car burning in France.

Most notable is the total destruction of the attempt to portray Islam as a peaceful religion.

That notion is now defunct and cannot be resurrected, even though I am sure someone will try like hell to do it!
