Hate to admit this but I find it difficult speaking to someone once I know their political affiliation is with this pathetic party. Anyone who boasts in 2006 that they're still a democRAT is someone I avoid like the plague. You simply cannot reason with these people and that goes for some in my own family. Sad really!
Mine too, sadly. I was hoping to convert my inlaws before they died, but that will never happen. They refuse to believe the Dems have been hijacked by the libs.
I know what you mean. Unfortunately my sister has been coming on strong about how she is still proud to be a democrat. She is now suggesting that I should reconsider being a republican because the party is so corrupt and the president is stupid and now should be impeached for breaking the law. I told her that I was having email trouble in my last email to her(I totally ignored everything she said) and was changing internet service and blocked her. We never talk politics when we call each other (live across the country from each other) but she feels like it is okay to bombard me with her views in email. If she calls I will just tell her that I no longer do email because of trouble with new server...lol
That's why I keep saying that I love when these Dems keep talking!! My family is the same. They refuse to believe that the Ben Nelsons and Zell Millers aren't the mainstream anymore. They still think that the Cindy Sheehans and the Howard Dean types are the fringe kooks ---- Let them keep talking and yelling
