Good Monday morning, once again, fellow political jinkies. The NFL season may be over, but the political season inside the Beltway is 24/7/365. So join us, if you can, as those wacky Dems on the Senate Judiciary committee reprise their pitiful efforts to once again smear President Bush and score political points..

With Coretta King's funeral being tomorrow, I do not want to hear any Kennedy speaking reverently of her husband's greatmess.

Bottom line is this: There are some national security matters that are so sensitive that they have to be kept from some people...including congress and judges. We already know that we have people in sensitive positions who cannot be trusted with certain information. There is probably a leaker in a very high position within our government who is leaking to the press and possibly to foreign operatives. The President is aware of this and I think that is why we have to go around FISA at times. These Dems know that too and want to trap Gonzales into admitting that. IMO

Glad you said that,
I thought he verged on being rational.

Kennedy is wondering why we can't fight the present war the way AG Levy (Ford Administration) did? He wonders if the current way of doing things might jeapordize criminal prosecutions?
These jerks are still stuck in the Watergate Era!

It just seems that you slam every Republican about one thing or another, I was just curious.
I am fiercely Independent. I slam either side when I think they are wrong, whether Dem or Pub. I applaud either side when I think they are correct, whether Dem or Pub. There are plenty of kool-aid drinkers is both parties to carry the party line---I'm not one of them.

I will say that Kennedy was a big disappointment today - there was no table slapping no nothing except his fake use of "haugh" for half. He seemed somewhat muted. Kennedy is a drunk, but he can read when he's sober. He knows what a public beating he took in the last two weeks during Alito. He's going to let some other kook carry the Kos water on this go-round. That's mho.

ROFL...
I find it amusing..that liberals consider themselves generally to be intellectually SUPERIOR to conservatives, and yet, they cannot seem to grasp the simplest of concepts.
These Democratic senators simply don't understand what they are DOING to the national security. Listening to Gonzalez- you can hear him struggling to clarify the basic facts- and they apparently cannot HEAR him..

One question Mr. Gonzales. When do we start the slam fest on the person(s) who leaked this program to the MSM?
