Yep, I noticed the same thing...no names. Perhaps an ongoing investigation I am sure. Wonder how many cell phones and computers the cached on this one.
I don't see how withholding names from the public would affect any ongoing investigations. The prominance of the discovery, of a cache of weapons, is enough to put anybody on notice, when they see the news. I would wager the etymolgy of the names is more significant.
It's from the Sierra Times. They're somewhat agenda-driven, and you'll notice from the blurb at the bottom that the article relies primarily on "sources," which could mean pretty much anybody who happens to be associated with the federal agencies. At any rate, those "sources" probably didn't include any names, and they may not even have had personal knowledge of the cases.
