Those are pretty much the same sentiments echoed over at DU. This cartoon fiasco might be the flashpoint event that awakens Western liberals to the fact that the Muslims are not our friends.

Sorry, this is a paste however, I want my small message to get out.I want to post this once. I do understand that I will be banned. I do understand that my opinion IS NOT the opinion of fellow FReeper.Now that this is out of the way let me say this. I am not going to come to you with mass amounts of knowledge or a bunch of indexed situations because I do not feel like I need them. I AM teaching my my children to fear Muslim's.I do not trust Muslim's. I have spent my entire life teaching MY CHILDREN to not be RACIST.I now feel that to live your life blind to the hatred that Muslims feel for all others is foolish and a diservice to your family. I am an easy going guy but no more!!!!!I see the future and what I see is war. One cannot appease the Muslim religion,if you think you can then you are a doomed fool or a converted Muslim.I Will not convert so I'll NEVER worship muhammed or any of his ilk, if its war you want then fine, I will go instead of my son. I never thought I would be saying this but EFF U Muslim's I am ready. I would like my son and daughter to be raised in a normal world. This whole incident is a perfect illustration of why the whole Muslim world sickens me. These people literally have nothing better to do than go on rampages about cartoons published thousands of miles away. Do you think they'd be doing this if they had a real economy or (gasp!) JOBS TO GO TO? People who actually work for a living and are trying to do something PRODUCTIVE WITH THEIR LIVES have bigger fish to fry. If you take away oil, the entire Arab world has a GNP smaller than Spain's. The only thing the Arab world has to offer the rest of us is their impotent outrage--it is their coin of the realm and their #1 export. Frankly, I think all the Western leaders should hold a news conference and tell them (a) we don't give a good God damn about their outrage and (b) grow up.
