Now doubt the Steelers were the better team and deserved the win. Still, neither team played well.

I saw all the games. Did you? Face it, this was a stinkeroo. I've seen them all since IX. This wasn't the greatest, but it was a close match. Of course, I have some experience with the Steelers particular brand of "boring" football.

I'd agree neither team played very well, it really showed that both offenses were made up almost entirely of guys who hadn't been on this stage before. A stinkeroo? No. Worst SB ever? Not by a long shot. The games in the running for worst ever would be most of the Niners SBs that were functionally over shortly after kickoff, the era when the terms "Super Bore" and "Super Blowout" were coined.
