In Seattle, they aren't allowed to have puppies. Owning animals is considered slavery up there in lib-land. You aren't that far off! If you have an apartment and you don't have a certain amount of square footage, you are not allowed to license a pet or pick one up from the pound. In Seattle they would rather euthanize animals than allow someone with a small apartment to have a cat.
