You are correct. Mohammed's ascendency began with murder. The press doesn't know what it's talking about. Reporting based on myth is pure bunk.

If I have to hear Sean Hannity say one more time the radical Muslims are peverting a great religion, I'm going to scream. The radicials ARE behaving as Mohammed and his followers behaved. The Qur'an is the basis and motivation for terrorism against non-Muslism. It's only the secular Muslims that are the least bit peaceful.

In Canada, we had a similar case, if not of the same magnitude. In the mid-90s, a Toronto man distributed highly inflammatory literature against Islam and the Prophet.

Don't tell me. The literature said something about how fanatical muslim fundamentalists were prone to acts of terrorism, including how they might hijack planes and fly them into buildings. That's just a guess, though. I mean, how inflammatory!

I read this.

In Canada, we had a similar case, if not of the same magnitude. In the mid-90s, a Toronto man distributed highly inflammatory literature against Islam and the Prophet.Unlike our European colleagues and some fanatics of the Middle East, Canadian Muslims took up the case with the police and the gentleman was charged under Ontario hate laws and convicted. End of story.

And then I read this.

For the Arab League to demand that the Danish government shut down the newspaper Jyllands-Posten shows how deeply entrenched dictatorial practices are in many Muslim countries. They are so accustomed to closing down their own newspapers, they could not understand why the Danish government could not issue a decree closing the Jyllands-Posten.

And I wonder what the difference is between what the Canadian Muslims did to the Toronto man in the 90's and what the author is criticizing the Arab League for demanding be done now. Then again maybe this author just doesn't check his articles for logical coherence before he has them published.
