Yes he is Catholic and lives those standards, unlike the other Faux CAtholics like Kennedy,Biden,Daschle,Pelosi. I could go on forever there are a lot of them in Congress.
Don't suggest or the 24 thread will find a way of doing it !!!
I'm watching, and one of my very favorites is going up against her...Duncan Hunter, CA.
The Democrat response was terrible. The only thing I can remember is the Gov. of Virgina's mouth was not moving right with the shallow words he was reading. It was almost like Sat. Nite Live. Something went wrong with the sound system, but the message was very superficial. Watching Bush's State of the Union yesterday for the second time, helped me to realize he did a very good job!
Russert was also acting like a bad democratic attorney when he was questioning Specter. Russert is way too partisan and getting worse. Why doesn't he just run for office and be honest about it all?
That's a different statute, FWIW. Somewhere around 50 USC 413b. Jean Harman brought it up, but I don't see a reference to it in her Jan 8 appearance on FNS.
He is also saying that Gonzalez claimed that they didn't go to Congress to get the law changed because they were told they wouldn't get the changes they wanted. That is 100% a lie. Gonzales said exactly the opposite ...
That should make for an interesting exchange when the hearings get underway.
No .. I'm talking about the people I know that are not Freepers ... they want the spending on stupid pork projects to stop
They don't have a problem spending money on our military and other important issues .. but they have had it with congress member slipping in their pet projects ...
They also want the tax cuts to be permanent
Gosh, I didn't realize that you have done all this while recovering from eye surgery...
I will pray that all continues to go well for your eyes, it sounds like a lot of work to be done..
What about "Face the Nation"? Sen Sessions was scheduled along with Leaky Lips Leahy.
I have to wait another 8 days to watch it in the UK I have never watched it before but with all the hype on FR I think I am going to this time.
Yeah I noticed Duncan doing a great job. Wolf would try to let Babs remarks stand and quickly ask a question to Duncan but he would come right back with, "First let me respond to what SenatorBoxer was saying..........."
He refused to let her memo talking points stand.
(Morning Rodguy)
And again. Noitce ALL the analysis are looking at Bush's polling data and saying "Bad Bush number means trouble for GOP". Nope. OTHER thing is Ms Nancy and her insane clown posse are starting to telegraph "The plan" and it is big time Govt Socialism. Good luck sell that vision in the Red states. So you win Ca and NY with 75% and lose just about everywhere else does NOTHING to help the Dems gain the Majority.
It would be good to maintain a summary of "history of memes" too. Some subjects go off the radar, I think intentionally, and whether or not they resurface depends on their value as an attack tool.
As part of lobby reform we should demand that the guest lists of all Washington cocktail parties attetended by media players be published ...
Government and media are an incestuous pairing.
Wolf is so transparent. I give Duncan credit for remaining calm every time Wolf cut him off in mid-sentence.

"That question was asked earlier. We've had discussions with members of Congress, certain members of Congress, about whether or not we could get an amendment to FISA, and we were advised that that was not likely to be -- that was not something we could likely get, certainly not without jeopardizing the existence of the program, and therefore, killing the program"
Your News programs may not have cutthroat so-called Journalists like Russert that do not do interviews they do scathing assaults especially on Conservatives or Republicans in general. I have noticed that the Brits (even the Libs) usually interview with more class and decorum that the American Journalists, especially since the Journalists here are out of power because they are Dems for the most part and are snarky to begin with. I cannot imagine someone with a British accent saying the awful, nasty, vicious, and accusatory things in an interview that The Russert style Journalists do.
Does Wolf's show replay tonight? I'd like my husband to listen to Rep. Hunter.
