I think you are right, having a bunch of little kids by an older guy that is slightly bipolar (like being slightly pregnant) is a terrible burden to bear. You never know if he will kiss you or kick you, and she is already known to have abused Prescription pain killers that were not even hers. We have not been in his home, we have only seen the schizoid behavior of Mccain on Camera. If I recall he dumped his first wife for Cindy after she stayed with him faithfully during after his POW status.
Russert was being intellectually dishonest in his questioning to Specter and sounded like the looney kos kids
He was making accusations on information about the wiretapping that he has no proof of
I'm glad Specter pointed out that Congress has a history of leaking ... I just wished he mentioned the Judge that quit the court shortly after the NYT came out with this article
As for Russ Feingold .. seems he is a Kos Kid also

I am also avoiding certain political liberal shows.
It is hard to watch nonsense over and over again. I am able to predict, now, what certain Democrat operatives will say. These shows are all about using silly advertisements targeting silly liberals. These shows are not about providing "food for thought" to anybody who is serious about politics.
I rememeber that
Im just curious, is Boehner Catholic?
I can remember when it was OK to sing a Christmas Carol with the words "don we now our gay apparel."
Heck, I can remember when it was OK to sing Christmas Carols!
Thanks Mol. Glad my memory is still intact. I just know we kept laughing over the MSM gushing over all the young McCain supporters and comparing McCain to Howard Dean's attracting the younger voters.
Whenever they refer to right-wing hate-speech... they mean us & Rush Limbaugh.
The Toon peace dividend after the Repub won the cold war and the RATS wanted to decimate the DoD for the sake of social programs since Defense was no longer anyones concern.
I understand your point, but unless you are in the media the chances are you will not come across on these programs very well. You have to know the bells and whistles and the director's signals etc otherwise you may sound rambling, or tongue tied, dumb struck and otherwise ridiculous. Someone like Tom Sullivan is a Businessman that handles Investments and portfolios and he has his own talk show, and subs for Rush and he is Conservative. He would be my choice for one of the substitutes we are talking about, but sadly you will never see him on any of these shows.
Just keep in mind, the Peace Dividend talk started during the George H. W. Bush four years. With a Democrat congress, but it still started under Bush 41.
I like what he said about full disclosure of campaign contributions...if that were in place, there would be no need for any other campaign finance laws.
I love Victoria Toensing and her husband Joe diGenova. They are always some of the best sources in these types of disputes. I love it when, in the middle of an argument with some left wing flack, one of them (particularly Victoria) will trot out "well, I wrote that part of the law, so I know what it really means."
Devastating.
Her ability to bring real world and practical examples to this discussion, particularly framing the issue as FISA being a central part of the problem that kept us from "connecting the dots" before 9/11, should turn this whole controversy from one of "what did Bush do wrong" to "how quickly can we string up the Democrats for the way they have made us vulnerable to attack." And they are still trying to do the same thing (with help from clowns like Arlen Specter).
If I recall also ... McCain got some heat because many of the college students were under age for drinking
Just saw Boehner on FNS. He did fine. He even admitted his golf 6 handicap will probably suffer in the future.
Boehner said he's one of eleven kids, and their father owned a bar. So, he HAD to learn about social issues. LOL Yeah, I'll bet he did. Up close and personal.
