My wife noticed that George StepAllOverUs is wearing a wedding ring.
What's up with that?
Just another excuse for him to be absent from his home.
When she had her stroke, he was in NY and flew home on Mayor Blooming-idiot's private plane.
Russert, and others, don't realize a direct donation by Abramoff is completely legal. Hidden donors, using Indian tribe money to influence voting by Reid is not.
;-)
Off to church, bye for now ----
Specter probably doesn't think about the damage he can cause within his own party. Specter played hardball to get the Chair of that committee. Most of us knew he would be a great disappointment. He is too chummy with Schummer and Biden.
If only the President was more combative, acted more like the democrats, then he might have been elected to that second term.
At any given time, our genious bars and the threads give more news all over the world with our own opinions. I have seen many newspeople and even dems come here for their news.
Shadegg was favored by a lot of Freepers, but I just didn't like him. (I really knew little about him, therefore relied on fellow Freepers.) It finally dawned on me about his third interview...he would not stand up to the Dem bashing the Repubs, that appeared with him.
All I heard from him was that the Republican's are in trouble and had to change...not a peep about Dem problems with the same charges.
I'm glad to see Boehner stuck it to Tim Russert!
Add me to your well wishers on your upcoming surgery.
Well on THAT we agree.
it would be nice to see someone different for a change, and I think that having someone like Rush Limbaugh or Neal Boortz or even Glenn Beck would be a change. Kristol's voice makes me want to clear my throat, and he looks so sheepish sometimes, it is distracting. Today Brit did not kick Juan in the butt, and nobody else did either, and he sounded his usual idiot self. They really could use a new Panel even Mara is boring......
Don't you dare!!!! LOL....I'm about to turn 69.
If the Steelers win today, the ball is bouncing Swann's Way.
Swann would receive excellent publicity. Watch Rendell looking for photo opts with the Steeler's too. Rendell is on t.v. giving away money, like a game show host every week.
Agreed. I live in the Detroit area, and all stations here are all Super Bowl, all the time, today, so my only chance to review the Sunday AM Talking Heads is on this forum. It's a good thing that everyone here is objective and unbiased!
Other Media Nuggets
###### Laura Ingraham is reporting from Iraq after she interviewed Cheney on Friday. No media nework paid her millions to go there. She just want to tell the REAL TRUE situation there and what our great soldiers are doing there.
###### John Roberts - WH correspondent resigned(?) from CBS & joined CNN as national correspondent. Real reason was CBS HAD to recall him from WH after his Alito slander.
###### Now CBS appoints Jim Axelrod as chief WH correspondent & Byron Pitts as national correspondent. (Surprise! - both were embedded journalists in Iraq).
###### NBC Offends Christians Again The April 13 episode of "Will and Grace" will mock the crucifixion of Christ. Will they ever learn?
###### So called "non-partisan "National Journal hires liberal writer Murray Waas.
###### CNN business correspondent Rhonda Schaffler(non-politico) challenged on-air Lou Dobbs' doom and gloom about economy and quit CNN. Bloomberg immediately took her.
###### A major war is about to break between Fox and NBC. O'reilly gave a hint last week but details are sketchy - both politics and business involved. Will be interesting.
I shudder to think that if dems win, John Conyers becomes the head of the Judicial Committee. To the RAMPARTS!
Well that's ONE hopeful possibility!
